Edible Playground - a BIG question

Mr Bignall is still so busy in our edible playground! Look how big this radish he picked is!

 So here's a scientific question for you;

What do you know already about the relationship between the size of a seed and the size of the fully grown plant?

How would you investigate or explore this question?

Edible Playground

Mr Bignall's been so busy watering our edible playground whilst we've all been at home. With the hot weather we've been having the plants have grown and grown, abit like the giagantic turnip did!

Here are some flowers that have grown;

I hope you all had a good weekend Year 2. This weekend I planted some sunflower seeds into a pot on my window cill. I'm hoping that they grow taller than me like this girls one;

Our school garden is growing!

While we've all being staying at home Mr Bignall has been visiting our edible playground at school to look after and water all the flowers and vegetables. 

Here are some photos of the Year 2 flower bed - it's looking so green already!

Edible Playground; What should we grow?

It's that time of year again...

the sun is out, the grass in the park is turning green and it's time to sow some seeds in our edible playground! 

Do you remember your fantastic marrows that you grew last year? 

What should we plant this year?
