Well done Zayd and Buddy

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Wow! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have a massive smile on my face because look what I found in the debeauvoirprimaryschool@gmail.com inbox!
Not one, but two amazing Robin Hood wanted posters!
Buddy's poster looks ready to be pinned to a tree in Sherwood Forest!
Zayd's poster is a colourful creation that even has bubble writing!
Well done Zayd and Buddy! You're posters have made my day.

Edible Playground

Thank-you for the photographs of the lifecycle of violas - they're fantastic!
Another plant that's been growing in our edible playground is cut-and-come-again salad leaves. Learn more about them on the RHS website
Since we've been at home something I've been missing from school is our delicious salad selection at school. My favourite is the grated carrot salad. I tried to make my own version at home using these recipes;
Have you tried making any salads at home?
Have you had anything to eat at home like we have at school?
Do you still have fish fingers on Fridays?
Do you remember making healthy pizzas at school?

If you'd made anything delicious recently I'd love to have the recipe if you write it in the comments box or e-mail a photo of it to;

Marvelous Maths

Well done for answering the questions yesterday using before and after - great work!
Today we're going to be telling the time to the nearest 15 minutes.
Watch this video to refresh your memory about how to tell the time;
Then have a go at writing the time in words and in digital for each of these clocks.
For example the first one would be;
1. Three o'clock, 3:00
For an EXTRA challnege try playing these memory games;

Robin Hood Wanted Poster

Do you remember making the old paper for our Samuel Pepys diaries when we were learning about the Great Fire of London?
Today I'd like you to make a Robin Hood wanted poster that the Sheriff of Nottingham might have put up to try and catch Robin Hood.
Here's a video on how to make the paper. Ask your adult at home to help with the hot water.
Once your paper is dry start making your poster!
Remember to include a description of what Robin Hood looks like as well as what he has done to upset the Sheriff of Nottingham. The more detail the better!
I'd love to see photos of your posters if you e-mail them to;

Edible Playground

Mr Bignall's been so busy watering our edible playground whilst we've all been at home. With the hot weather we've been having the plants have grown and grown, abit like the giagantic turnip did!
Here are some flowers that have grown;
I think they are violas. Learn more about viola plants on the RHS website;
They were grown from seed. To learn more about the lifecycle of a plant;
Your challenge today is to draw a labelled picture of the lifecycle of a viola plant.
Here's an example of a picture of the life cycle of a sunflower that you could base your one on;
