I've been so impressed with all your addition and subtraction work this week Year 2.

    Good morning Mrs Binnie,
    The maths questions
    1) The answer is 57 - he crossed out too many ones

    2)45 - 23 = 22

    3)68

    Extra challenge:
    3, 5, 17 = 25
    7, 9, 9 = 25
    3, 9, 13 = 25
    5, 11, 9 = 25

    1. The correct answer is 57. He did not take away the units correctly.
    2.53-25=28
    3 Jess is correct. She had to borrow from 9 to get 15 and the took away 7. She was left with 8-2 in the tens column which equals 6.

    Here is my answers

    The mistake he has made he crossed the tens and ones wrongly.

    2)35-22=13

    3)Jess is right the answer is 68. I had to calculate 95-27=68

    19+5+1=25
    11+9+5=25
    15+9+1=25
    17+5+3=25
    13+9+3=25
